Cork Youth Darts Teams looks for new youth dart players from West Cork

Cork will play in the Munster and All-Ireland Championships in the New Year, but before that there are four more tournaments to be played throughout the county, where West Cork youths have a chance to compete for their place on one of four Cork teams.

The tournaments are open to all levels, from beginners to more experienced girls and boys, from eight to 17-years-old.

Local youths Ben Harrington from Bandon and Ronan McCarthy and Niall O’Regan from Skibbereen have started the season well in the first few ranking events (in Mallow, Bantry, Midleton and Carrigaline), throwing high 100-plus, 140 and 180 scores, as well as regular high finishing.

October 11 and November 1 will see two events in the city, and the final event will take place on November 30 in Carrigaline. Cork hosts the Youth Darts National five-a-side inter-county Challenge Cup and Shield on November 8.
