Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa in Cork will host a BBQ on Friday, May 13, with music by the wonderful John Spillane, to raise funds to help Syrian refugees.
With four Syrian chefs on their team, Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa, are particularly supportive of this cause, and have chosen for the funds raised on the evening to go to the West Cork Island to Island Humanitarian Fund, which helps to provide aid to refugees.
The BBQ will feature delicious Syrian food including Lamb Koftas and Tabbouleh, from Chefs Ahmed Al Saadi, Mohammad Al Saadi, Amar Gharfaji and Wasim Gharfaji, all led by the Head Chef of Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, Adam Metcalf. The always-generous John Spillane is delighted to support the event by entertaining guests with his music.
Happening on Friday, May 13 from 6pm-8pm, tickets are €25 and are available from reception at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, or by calling reception on 023 8833143. For those who would like to make the most of the evening and stay over, there is a special accommodation rate of €158 per room.
