The Cape Clear Island International Storytelling Festival is now entering its 20th year, and has become one of the most renowned international storytelling festivals.

Each year it invites some of the most accomplished tellers from around the world, and also presents the best Irish representatives of this most ancient of art forms to a world audience.

The 2014 festival takes place this weekend from Friday, September 5 to Sunday, September 7.

The Annual Courtmacsherry Storytelling Festival will take place from September 12 to 14, 2014.

This will be the 19th Festival and this year will continue to see some fantastic performers from North and South of Ireland, as well as from other parts of the globe.

The Storytelling Concert is the main event and that will be held in the Courtmacsherry Hotel on the Saturday evening and advance booking is advised as it is usually well sold out before the event! Please call Marian O’ Brien on 02388 40100 or on 086 345 8764. Tickets cost €15 each.
