West Cork Kickboxing club has again shown why it is arguably the most successful club in Europe. At the recent Junior National kickboxing Championships held in Dublin recently, the club enjoyed huge success, with ten of its fighters achieving places on the Irish Junior National Kickboxing Team. Lusa Roza, Eoghan Stephenson, Grainne Begley, Liam de la Cour, Dillon O’Flynn, Osin Brady and Claire O Sullivan all winning Gold with Ian O’Flynn, Shania O’Flynn and Sean Brady winning Silver and Fintan Stephenson, Grainne Begley and Anthony O’Flynn winning Bronze.

Dave Slaney, Sean Begley and Botan Roza were unlucky this time around to be just outside the medals having performed superbly. Toby Bermueller, Lily de la Cour, Deirdre Begley, Bernard Brady, Hannah and Mike Stephenson were on hand to coach the fighters.

This impressive haul of medals was on top of the success the club had at the Irish Open Kickboxing Championships, one of the major kickboxing events in Europe, where again club members brought home trophies and medals.
