Plans are being finalised for what promises to be another fantastic West Cork Feelgood festival in Bantry on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15. The event, which takes place during International World Mental Health week, will build on the success of last year’s event and celebrate wellness and some of the many things that make us feel good. Activities will include music, fun, sport, the arts, singing, food and nutrition, as well as up to date information about positive mental health and wellbeing.

Bantry community choir will host Liam Lawton and the award winning Seoda chamber choir from Limerick, in its annual ‘Live life and Sing’ concert.  Some of Cork’s and Ireland’s elite sport stars will host a ‘Come and Try’ sports event.  A fun filled parade will meander through the streets of Bantry before culminating in what promises to be an exciting afternoon at Bantry square for all the family, including a Big Sing and a Big Swing!

There will also be events in Skibbereen and Clonakilty to celebrate World Mental Health week.  Full details of the programme will be announced shortly.  For updates visit westcorkfeelgood on facebook.
