One Horse Pony return to Glebe Gardens in June, having closed the Summer music season there last August. The show was one of the highlights of a fantastic year for the band and this year’s show is highly anticipated as the best venue to see the Pony deliver their brilliant, upbeat acoustic Blues.
The Glebe is based in a five-acre beautiful public garden overlooking Church Strand, Baltimore, developed over the past 20 years by Jean and Peter Perry. The produce from the garden provides the inspiration and often the main ingredients of the food served in the café and restaurant.
One Horse Pony, have topped the iTunes Blues Chart with their single ‘Staring Blues’, played Electric Picnic, Kilkenny Roots and the Guinness Jazz Festival, and shared the bill with artists such as The Blind Boys of Alabama. The band also play a monthly residency in Whelan’s of Dublin.
One Horse Pony combine acoustic instruments, strong vocal harmonies and an uncompromising drive to deliver their stomping live shows.
